Security Deposit

$500 for each new student to be paid with the other fees, and will be refunded on leaving the School (after deduction for outstanding charges).

 

Compulsory Items

Students are required to have a regular school uniform and Physical Education uniform, purchased upon admission.

Students and teachers use a variety of technology in our classrooms. Therefore, students must come to school each day with the following hardware:

  • Grade 1-3: iPad
  • Grade 4-12: MacBook with sierra operating system

Learning Support

English as an Additional Language (EAL) or Special Educational Needs (SEN) services will be assessed and provided if available at a fee of $425-$850 per month depending on the grade and level of need.

Lost Books or Damaged Materials

In the case of lost or damaged books/ school materials, students will be billed and payment is due upon receipt of
the invoice.

IB MYP and Diploma

Examination fees will be charged in Term 2 for Grades 10 (MYP) and 12 (Diploma) students respectively.

Payment of fees in Taka can be made with deposit slips available at the School Office or at the Dutch Bangla Bank/ Commercial Bank of Ceylon assigned branches. The bank will return one copy of your deposit slip to the School to confirm payment. In the case of fees paid by bank transfer or cheque, confirmation of the payment credit will not be given until funds are cleared. Kindly notify the ISD Finance Office, if you are paying by bank transfer.

Payment should be made in Taka for Bangladeshi nationals at the quoted bank rate of the day. Payment should be made in US dollars for expatriate students. Parents paying by Bank Transfer must add $25 (twenty five dollars) to cover bank collection charges. Payments are accepted by the following banks:

Payable in Advance

New students will be invoiced on acceptance of admission.

Full fees must be paid within seven days.

Returning Students

Invoices are raised 30 days before the end of each term for the following term. All fees and tuitions are due 30 days after the date of the invoice.

Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable.

Late Fees

Students whose fees are not paid by the due date will incur a late fee charge as per schedule below. Students whose fees are not paid by the start of the term may be excluded from classes.

For Playgroup - Nursery: Late fee of $100 will apply to all payments banked after due date.

For Pre-KG - Grade 12: Late fee of $200 will apply to all payments banked after due date.

Application Fee

Students re-enrolling after a 2 year absence must go through a new application process including payment of all fees.

Enrolment During the School Year

Students entering within 45 days of the start of each term are required to pay the term tuition fees in full, along with the application, admission and annual fees.

Students entering after 45 days from the start of each term will have their tuition fee alone calculated on a pro rata basis, with all other charges levied in full.

Withdrawal During the School Year

Notice of withdrawal of a student must be given to the school in writing no later than 45 days before the end of each term. Failure to do so will result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the following term’s tuition.

Nonpayment of Fees

Student records and progress reports will not be released to parents or to other educational institutions until all outstanding fees are paid.
