This month, the Class of 2024 received an update on Pearson’s Test of English or PTE, which was recently recognized by the Canadian government as a valid test of English proficiency when applying for a student visa (PIE News, 2023). Primary Design integrated with Grade 2 on their unit about the consequences of human actions on water resources. We used our new Lego Spike Essential kits containing classroom brick sets that allowed the students to create models using Lego and connect to an intuitive SPIKE™ app. The iPad app connects to the hub or the computer relaying the code to make the motors and sensors. read more
