ISD has been part of my life for more than twenty years. I first joined the school as a student in 2002 and part of the Alumni Batch of 2009. Today, I proudly continue this journey as a parent of two current ISD students, Mashjeed and Mashawl (2021). For my family and me, ISD has always been more than a school, it has been a home.

Being connected to ISD as a student, alumnus, and now a parent has given me a deep appreciation for its values, people, and community spirit. You will often find me around campus, in the parent lounge, or at school events, sharing conversations and moments with fellow parents, students, teachers, and staff. I truly believe that strong relationships are the heart of a thriving school community.

Over the years, without holding any formal title, I have always tried to contribute wherever possible. I have stood beside parents when support was needed, worked closely with teachers and staff when help was requested, and volunteered my time and effort to support school and community initiatives.

These include Hyper Playgrounds activities for students, Alumni BBQs and alumni events, Fathers’ Club gatherings, ISD Fairs, Winter Fairs, and involvement with the core strategic planning team. Each effort has been driven by a simple intention, to give back to the school that shaped me and now nurtures my children.

My hope and every effort for the PTA is to create a warm, inclusive, and connected community where parents feel heard, valued, and engaged. I aim to listen openly, work collaboratively, and serve as a bridge between parents and the school, always keeping the best interests of our children at heart.
