In observance of this blessed month, the PTA Executive Committee came together to launch a special Ramadan initiative aimed at nurturing compassion, reflection, and positive action within our school community. With the leadership and active involvement of President Mr. G. M. Mashfiqur Rahman, Vice President Mrs. Shimmi Momena Ismail Sarkar, Treasurer Mrs. Rumana Huq Luva, Parent Homeroom Representative Mrs. Tahsina Rahman (Wafa), and Teacher Representative Ms. Leena Sharmeen Haq, the PTA arranged thoughtfully prepared goodie bags for students, teachers, parents and staff members. 

Each goodie bag includes warm Ramadan greetings along with a specially designed Kindness Challenge Card, encouraging students to actively participate in simple yet meaningful acts of kindness throughout the month. This initiative reflects the PTA’s commitment to bringing the ISD community closer together, fostering interaction, empathy, and goodwill during a time that emphasises generosity, patience, and compassion.

Kindness Challenge Guidelines:

• Students will receive the Kindness Challenge Cards inside their Ramadan goodie bags.

• They are encouraged to complete all the listed kindness tasks during the month of Ramadan.

• Students may seek support from school friends, parents, or teachers while completing the challenges.

• Evidence of completed tasks must be documented through photographs or short videos, and then shared on social media by tagging/mentioning the official ISD PTA account.

• Students who successfully complete all the challenges will be rewarded with a special Eid Surprise Gift Box from the PTA. Details to follow on how to claim the price. 

Through this initiative, the PTA aims to promote positive reinforcement, joyful participation, and a shared sense of responsibility within our community. It is our hope that this Ramadan initiative not only brings smiles but also leaves a lasting impact by inspiring kindness beyond the holy month.
