ISD’s annual theatre production, Emil and the Detectives, showcased the remarkable talent, dedication, and creativity of our Secondary School students. From Grade 6 to Grade 11, the actors worked tirelessly to bring Erich Kästner’s beloved story to life, performing for approximately 300 audience members, including visiting students from AISD and Grace.

The production followed Emil’s adventurous journey as he teamed up with a clever group of friends to solve a thrilling city-wide mystery. Through this performance, students demonstrated collaboration, confidence, and a passion for the performing arts, while entertaining audiences with humour, suspense, and heart.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to the leadership, staff, and parent community for their continued support, and special thanks to Corinne, Rakiba, Tahsin, Brandon, Afrina, Mr. Sabuj, and Mr. Badal for their guidance. Congratulations to all our performers for their incredible hard work!
