Co-Curricular Program Updates!

Hawk Nation continues to stay engaged with our incredible, virtual Co-Curricular Programs that take place every Tuesday. There have been many successes thus far, including the “Hawk Express” newsletter club which is organized by Mr. Amsu.

The Hawk Express is led by student Annila Aman of Grade 12. Annila’s team features Safa Islam and Azman Choudhury of Grade 11, Farisha Khan of Grade 10, and two Grade 7 students, Aditya Varshney and Divyanshi Sharma. The students have managed their school work along with their CCP duties very well, working really well together to produce their monthly newsletter. Each newsletter has had its own theme, October’s was Halloween, November was winter, and soon you will see the theme of this month’s issue. Mr. Amsu is proud of his group and what they have accomplished thus far.

Additionally, the “Intro to Web Design Club” with Mr. Kilgarriff is another fantastic CCP taking place, giving the opportunity for primary students who are learning how to work on web sites and design to improve their skills. It was one of the first clubs to fill up, and it is no surprise with the interest in technology the little Hawks have. Lastly, the Cricket Masterclasses are taking place for the secondary students with Mr. Ali, who is virtually showing students how to improve their bowling and hitting skills.

Season One of CCPs ends on February 2nd 2021. Season Two planning and sign ups will begin in January. Stay tuned for more information.

Have a safe holiday season,
Coach Moore
