Robotics in Education
ISD partners with renowned US college Carnegie Mellon University to bring its world-leading research-backed robotics programme to our school, where Grade 1-10 students work with experts to learn about programming, coding, computational thinking, using Lego and VEX kits.
Students can also take part in the robotic school camps that run throughout the year and receive Carnegie Mellon certification upon successful completion. With both in curriculum and camp learning, ISD students delve into the captivating worlds of VEX IQ, EXP, and LEGO PRIME robotics. Throughout this immersive experience, our young learners embrace the realm of robotics, harnessing their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise. Our students' get to explore the limitless possibilities that robotics offers at our Design Centre located on campus.
Barça Academy
At ISD in our Primary School, we implement the Singapore Mathematics based program, delivered within the IB PYP inquiry-based framework, laying a solid foundation of Mathematics skills in a learner-centered and well-balanced learning environment.
The Barça Academy is a sports school aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 18 years old which follows and replicates the game model established in the coaching teams at FC Barcelona.
This football school model, exported internationally, aims to extend the Barça brand and transmit the Club's work philosophy and values to the rest of the world.
Barça Academy Summer Camp 2025
International School Dhaka (ISD) was proud to host the Barça Academy Summer Camp 2025, held from June 22 to 26, offering an exceptional football experience for young players under the age groups of U11, U14, and U18.
The 5-day camp welcomed 72 participants who trained under the guidance of expert coaches from Barça Academy, including UEFA-licensed professionals. The program emphasized technical skill development alongside core Barça values such as humility, effort, ambition, respect, and teamwork.
Daily sessions ran from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, combining intensive training with fun, discipline, and personal growth. All participants received official certificates upon completion.
