OUR COLLEGE COUNSELING TEAM
The College Counseling Office assists students and families in identifying and applying to universities around the world. In Grades 11-12, College Counselors support students in identifying and applying to “good fit” schools. College Counselors can provide career awareness and exploration of various career paths. College Counselors are here to guide and assist throughout the college application process. For College/Career Counseling, contact Mr. Brian Eng and Ms. Tasnuva Ahmed.

The College Counselor is an essential resource for providing information and options for students to successfully research international colleges/universities that match their interests, abilities, and career goals. With the support and guidance of the College Counselor, students will:
- Select appropriately challenging courses to prepare for international colleges and universities
- Identify student strengths and weaknesses
- Map out appropriate college/university testing requirements (SAT, ACT, TOEFL)
- Select various careers and majors of interest
- Identify criteria for selecting colleges/universities
- Learn about the different types of colleges/universities
- Complete college/university applications
- Refine college/university essays and short answers
- Prepare for the transition into college/university
Japanese University Visit 2025
International School Dhaka recently hosted its first-ever visit from Japanese universities, welcoming Tokyo International University (TIU), Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KAUS), and Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB) Undergraduate School. Our Grade 11 and 12 students had the chance to explore academic programs, cooperative learning opportunities, and scholarships while also discovering Japan as a safe and affordable study destination.
