Admissions to ISD
Centric to our mission, ISD provides an excellent education for the children of our community.
We welcome students from a wide range of countries, backgrounds and abilities who wish to study an international curriculum with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and receive an English-language education.

ELIGIBILITY
We admit students from Early Years through Grade 12. Learning support is available for students with mild-to-moderate learning needs, however the academic requirements remain the same for all students.
Immunization requirments
Students must be up to date with their immunizations before starting at ISD.
Timing
Our school year begins in August. It’s divided into two semesters. Our first semester begins in August and our second semester starts in late January. We strongly recommend that your child joins the school at the beginning of a semester and do not arrive later than March 31 of the academic year.
We accept applications throughout the year, but encourage parents to apply:
- By June 1 for first semester intake in August, and
- By December 1 for second-semester intake in January.

International School Dhaka accepts applications and admits new students year-round. The academic year begins in August and ends in June. View the School Calendar for all important dates.
Our Admission Fees

Application Fee
A one-time application fee of $250 must accompany each application form. This non-refundable fee covers the administrative work involved in processing an application.

Admission Fee
A non-refundable (one-time) admission fee of $8,000 must be received after a student has been accepted and before a place can be confirmed.

Deposit
A payment of $500 is payable for a new student (excluding Playgroup and Nursery), which is refundable on their final departure (after deduction of outstanding charges).
Tuition fees
Fees are paid per semester by the individual or through agreements with business partners and service providers. The following annual fees apply for new enrollments. (Fees are quoted in us dollars and exclude 15% vat).

WEEK Without walls
These fees cover overseas and local trips depending on the student's grade-level and are payable in May with Term 1 tuition fees. These fees are mandatory for all students from Grades 4 – 12.
