Congratulations to our DP 2 class of 2024, who celebrated their service learning at the recent ISD CAS Exhibition!
Creativity, activity, and service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the #Diploma Programme (#DP). Throughout the #IB Diploma Programme, CAS involves students in a range of activities, such as #community#service, physical well-being, and #SDG goals, alongside their academic studies.
This year our students shared examples of their learning experiences over the past 18 months showcasing their personal growth and leadership skills.
The exhibition celebrated our student’s work and their dedication to becoming caring global citizens.
During the unit Sharing the Planet, our Grade 3 students were visited by Ms. Sankalita Shome, Chief Coordinator Bangladesh Sustainability Alliance & BRAC, and talked about how humans can collect and use natural resources and how this impacts the future of all living things on #Earth. Ms Sankalita Shome helped our students understand the impact of Plastic Pollution on our environment and how we can implement the 5 R's (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose & Recycle) in our daily lives. We look forward to coming together as a whole school community to make the world a better place for everyone.
